  • What does chiropractic care fix?
Chiropractic care is well known for back pain, neck pain and headaches. Patients may also be treated for a wide range of injuries and disorders of the musculoskeletal system, which includes the muscles, ligaments and joints. In addition, chiropractors offer advice to patients on diet, nutrition, exercise, healthy habits, and occupational and lifestyle modification.
  • Is chiropractic treatment safe?
Chiropractic is widely recognized as one of the safest noninvasive forms of health care for skeletal concerns and injuries. The risks associated with chiropractic care are small, but as will all medical treatment, there are risks. Many patients feel immediate relief following chiropractic treatment, but some may experience mild soreness, stiffness or aching, just as they do after some forms of exercise.
  • Does chiropractic care require a referral from my primary doctor?
No. But, your health plan may have specific referral requirements.
  • Can I pay for chiropractic care through my insurance?
Yes. Chiropractic care is included in many health insurance plans, including major medical plans, workers’ compensation, Medicare, and Medicaid.
  • Can my kids receive chiropractic treatment?
Yes. Kids can benefit from chiropractic care especially after injuries. Chiropractic care is adapted to each individual patient.
